I don't hate you Chris. Far from it.

You've just gotten so close to the program that you can't help but get a little drunk from the cardinal and gold kool-aid, that's all.

You hope, just like all of us, that things are going to turn around one of these Saturdays. We all had "hope" going in to this season, but yesterday sure put a damper on it quick.

I just hope you find it in you to ask some of the tough questions on this forum of yours over the week, instead of just hyping another game next Saturday and blowing up everyone's expectations again.

I understand you can't really directly ask Rhoads the tough questions, but you could tackle them on here, couldn't you?

Chris Williams: The thing is…I know they're good. It's not like we were coming off as these condescending Iowa State guys, were we?

Brent Blum: No. Well, maybe in his mind. To predict that an FCS team would beat a Big 12 team, even though they won 3 games, we realize this, by 3 TDs...is just asinine. It's a shame that the college football playoff is only 4 teams because if there were 5, NDSU would be in it.

Chris Williams: What boggled me about the conversation we just had,though, is that much confidence in anything. I've been saying all week from an Iowa State standpoint, I'm not concerned about North Dakota State because I know they're going to be good. I know exactly what to expect from the... BIZON (condescending) on Saturday. It's all Iowa State to me. And 2, for him to be so guaranteed lock-down, Iowa State's not scoring 17 points…That's ASININE.

You asked him who he thought would win and the score and then you did everything but call him an idiot for the rest of the show.

You and Brent didn't give his opinion any merit and mocked his opinion, which ended up being a missed PAT away from being perfect.

Of course being wrong is going to happen and don't for a second think that the whole thing is funny at your expense simply because you were wrong and he was right.

It's funny because you and Brent completely mocked him and were incredulous and continued to mock him after he was no longer on the air. That's not it at all and you know it.

He also called his shot comparing you two to the KSU interview the year before. But you weren't smart enough to leave it alone. Pretty funny, really, and I'm sure you and Brent both learned a lesson in humility if nothing else.

If you honestly think I'm happy today, you are dead wrong and don't know me at all, which you don't.

Yesterday basically ruined this great holiday weekend for me. I like to wear my cardinal and gold with pride, but not today. If I wear it today, I will get ridiculed for it, and deservedly so.

Obviously if I'm letting ISU football ruin what would otherwise be a great long weekend, then I have issues. Trust me, I'm trying my hardest to not care at all about ISU football, but I just can't seem to shake it. It's a really bad habit that I need to break.

And no, that doesn't mean I don't think football isn't meaningless, because it is. I just have a problem.... I'm addicted to football, especially ISU football. It's like a cocaine addict knows that cocaine is terrible for them and it is a meaningless drug, but they still can't shake it.

The way I interpret that comment, he was correct. We knew that NDSU was gunna be a solid team, we just didn't know how good Iowa St. would be. Turns out NDSU was solid, and Iowa St was bad.

Our program should be in a place to laugh at predictions from fcs schools that say they are going to beat us by 21 points, only hope is that we learn something from this loss and not just accept that we suck.

Yes I do! Thanks for noticing. I don't deny that one bit.

If only we could all get over our addiction to Cyclone football, then maybe you'd see some changes. There would be about 50 people in the stands every week (players' family and friends only). Do you think JP would have to fire Rhoads then?
