Chris Babb story!

GTO, how come I didn't at least make the "Last 4 In" category? I thought we were cool. I guess not...
Really??? What a joke... Your RPI is nowhere near CarlHungus and you don't have the SoS to compete with any of them. You have bubble written all over you.

Imma just go ahead and say it - Chris is hot. And being genuinely nice and very talented? Drool.

Oh man.....I read that and quickly scanned over to see what dude thought Babb was hot. Thank goodness it was you.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. :)

We won four tickets to any Iowa Energy and my son wanted to see Babb play. So we are going to the Well on April 4th to see him. Pretty cool that my 11 year old still thinks of Babb as cool Cyclone!

Even the straight men have to see the steam rolling off of Babb.

I ran into him at Noodles and Company once. Granted, I'm all of 5'2", but it's amazing how much taller he seems in real life.

Didn't realize my wife had a CF account...

In all seriousness, can't poke a lot of holes in what you said. Being in DFW, we have visited his dad's BBQ place a few times. Great family all together!

It's not fair that he has the looks, personality, and skills to play bball.

Love Babb. I agree, he was super nice when I talked to him during Trivia couple years back.

You're too smart to be Cheryl/Carol, too young to be Mallory, and you don't have freakish "man hands" like Lana. So.............Pam.

That's fair. :) I do a lot of my teaching moments via dolphin puppet, too.

He is a very kind/great person.

One time my wife and daughters were on Cyride coming to campus (two young kids) and she was struggling getting off the bus and he lifted my daughter off the steps to help my wife.

I used to (and still do) get frustrated when people try to make the "transfer players" on the rosters out to be villains or bad fits elsewhere...sometimes folks transfer for other reasons and i never thought it was fair to Chris to be lumped into those discussions.

So last night the Sioux Falls Skyforce played the Maine Redclaws. This was my chance to finally see Chris Babb play again since I was never able to make it to a game while he played at Iowa State. Of course I wore my favorite ISU jacket and I was lucky enough to sit front row by the visitor's bench. Right away during warm-ups, he picked me out of the crowd, pointed at me and gave me a thumbs up with a big smile. That was enough to make my night, but it was about to get better. At the end of the game I was hoping to asking him for a picture, but before I could move he walked right up to me and started talking to me and I was able to get a picture with him. He was a really cool guy and very nice! I went from a 23 year old man to 5 year old girl on Christmas morning! It made my night and makes me respect the guy even more! Thought this would be a fun story to share with everyone.

This, boys and girls, is how you rake in the likes.
