Chris Allen tonight

I think Allen played great tonight. And no, I don't think our tournament chances were overly hurt tonight. We lost a Big 12 road game like every other team in this conference including the three above us have. It certainly didn't help, but it's far too early to paint the doomsday scenario that a lot of posters are painting.

Ok awesome?
So how do you think CA played tonight? Do you think this loss hurts our tournament chances?

I honestly do not. We need 3-4 more wins. If we can't get that in the next 7 plus the Big 12 tourney, we don't deserve to dance anyway.

That is the part we disagree on then. I think having good momentum from a win tonight would have been big for us not to mention then we wouldn't have to beat Missouri, Baylor, or KSU. Like I said earlier, I think we'll knock one of them off but a win tonight would have made things much safer.

Basically how I feel. Just disappointed we aren't one game closer when we had this game in our hands multiple times. Such a shame to waste an unbelievable second half by Chris Allen.

An ACC team with 20 wins would probably get in, but wont happen in the big 12. we need 22 to feel as confident as a 20 win ACC team would about their chances of making the tourney

We shouldn't need momentum to beat TAMU at home, and this team has had no trouble bouncing back from losses this season.

Assuming in the next 6 games we win the games we are favored in and lose the ones we aren't, that leaves us at 20-10. At that point, we're on the bubble, possibly in. We then have 2 VERY winnable games at home with Baylor and a mid-Big 12 member in the tournament. If we get 1, we're in for sure. It's really that simple. Winning tonight would've given us a chance to get a better seed in the dance, but it won't be the game that keeps us out if we don't go.
