I thought they'd play this to save some money, either on December 1st or after sanctions. Turns out they think as little of the Chiz as we do.
If anyone thinks Chizik won't get another head-coaching job — here's a possibility: Dallas Cowboys.

They've gotten some decent recruits, but some of them didn't pan out and some left the program. They've gotten a bunch of 4 star recruits and some 5 stars as well.
If you are undisciplined, fundamentally unsound, and have crappy coaching it doesn't matter how talented you are.
Kiehl Frazier was supposed to be a stud at QB. He played as a true freshman last year and was supposed to start this year. I think he got yanked at some point. Probably a talented kid but horribly managed by bad coaching.
Micheal Dyer was a HUGE recruit and played great as a true freshman on the NC team. He got in trouble with the law and tried to transfer to Arkansas State. Didn't get to play there and is now at Arkansas Baptist college, not playing football and hoping to get drafted this year.
I suggest any position with the Chiefs. Gene won more games than the Chiefs have done.
Cheeze stick proved his real value as a head coach. None. I could have coached Scam Newton to a Mythical National Championship.

I think that a new coach could turn that program around immediately. They are loaded with talent, they just need someone to come in and coach fundamentals and discipline.
Until she blows through $7.5 million, that's not likely. Unless of course they invest in real estate like John L. Smith...
In an effort to ease everyone's minds about Gene's future I want you all to know there is no need to worry. Gene will be just fine. His financial house is in order and he has already secured a new job which he is very excited about. We all know Gene is a "people person" so this should work out great....
