Agreed, I'm a big Diallo fan after this and will support him wherever he lands. He has been very humble and respectful through this entire process.

I have no problem with Diallo scoring 70 points a game at Kansas while everyone else scores nothing at all.
That's fine. But they all do that stuff. All of them. I don't see him as any classier than any other player.
It will be good to have this finally finished.
I really don't want him to end up at Kansas. I'd prefer he not end up at St. Johns just because it will be annoying to wonder if he would have picked us if Matt had stayed (for the record I don't think that would be the case, but it would be hard not to wonder.) So I guess I hope it is Kentucky. Kentucky probably makes the most sense for him.
I find it silly people are tweeting that certain schools have momentum. They don't. They might have speculation momentum, but Diallo knows where he is going.
And wouldn't it be fun if he pulled off the stunner and picked Iowa State

They all do it. They all thank all of the schools in their top 5 or 10 or whatever. They all thank the coaches for recruiting them. I'm shocked that you act like he is classier than anyone else. He's not. You just remember the rude ones because it makes people mad. I'd say 99% are at least publicly classy.
It's his choice to act this way but I wouldn't call this classy for example:
99% do exactly what Diallo is doing. Vaughn did the exact same thing and I don't feel the need to act like he is the classiest thing ever.
Agree with this. Honestly one of the nicer good natured kid we have recruited and think he will represent any school he picks well and he will be a stud in the NBA regardless. Would love to have him in "focus town" for a year but I trust the writing on the wall. Would obviously prefer he not pick Kansas but will root for him success there even if I don't for his team.
Absolutely. I'd love to get to face him in Ames and possibly in the XII championships..
I don't care. I just don't see that he is any better than 99% of high school recruits.
I'll say that when he visited here, there was some talk on this board that he was kind of a jerk and the other players didn't really like him, so I guess hearing that has stuck with me a bit.
With what? I am not going to say anything when he picks another team....except that I don't want to play against him and that I'd rather not have to wonder if things would have been different had Matt stayed.
But I guess I don't have any burning desire to watch him be successful at another school. I won't have the burning hate that I had for Vaughn and I won't have the hurt feelings that I had with Barnes, but I won't go out of my way to care about him.
