As someone else said, wtf?? Fun seeing Kentucky pick up yet another blue-chip? I guess we have different views of what is "fun."

So here comes the walking backward part...how...usual for you.

You made a big point that anyone saying we had a chance was delusional and that "I told you so's" would follow when Diallo went elsewhere. But nothing supports an "I told you so" because...as I stated...nobody has said we were anything but a longshot.

Nor has anything been said to support foolish comments such as "we out"....not Chris Williams nor any of the other "tweeters" out there have made ANY unequivocal statements. So given that nobody predicted him coming, how would it make sense for anyone to say "I told you so" when he doesn't.

You were the one trying to paint a picture of wildly optimistic board members claiming we had a great chance of getting Diallo....yet cannot cite even one post that expresses that view. Further, you've sadly misread even those genuine insiders who said things like "it doesn't look good".

Sadly...now...all you can do is retreat to new ground and claim you were talking about those who said we have a LONGSHOT chance. But of course, it would make no sense to tell THEM "I told you so", as they clearly thought we had only a small chance of getting Diallo in the first place. So, either the fact that you're pointing your "I told you so'" at such people is nonsensical, or you are backtracking....because if all you had to go on before was that some said we have a chance, however small, at Diallo...than you are truly exposed as what you are.

THIS. The only thing that would be fun to see at Kentucky is their program either get the Death Penalty or Calipari's hair go up in flames at their Big Blue Madness event a la Michael Jackson in the filming of his Pepsi ad back in the day.
 
So I saw this Diallo kid play in the Jordan Brand Classic last week. I think to myself, man, I hope Fred has a big get like this kid some day. Then I see on his 247sports.com profile that we actually are recruiting him and their "Crystal Ball" says we have a 9% chance of landing him! *fangirling it over here*

I think with a top-notch recruiter like Matty A on our team our chances have to be at least 30%...

I do not think they run the floor that much. I see them more as a half court team. KU runs more than UK.

Pretty sure Diallo is going to Kansas or Saint Johns. Would be great to see him here but all signs point to else where at the moment.
 
I thought he would have committed over the weekend if he knew where he was going. The longer this goes on the more I wonder if he was waiting for Kentuckys roster to clear, and now that it has and no additional recruits have signed, he doesn't want to (be the only) commit to Kentucky and be on a team with roster holes. Maybe he doesn't want to be the only guy Cal gets this late? I think it is somewhat intruiging that Cal is now courting jucos. I have never considered us 100% out but at the same time no longer think we are a favorite by any means.

If Cal is down to courting JUCO's, who in the world are we going to be able to bring in?

Didn't you get, Lam's memo....you may not even allow for a .001% chance of Diallo coming to ISU. Its case closed, end of discussion, move along...nothing to see here.
