Charlie Kolar NFL Draft

I was looking through the roster and didn't realize that Kolar was a RS Sophomore. Is there any chance that he leaves for the NFL draft after this year? He'll likely be first team all Big 12 and short of the Mackey award (BS he wasn't a finalist this year) i'm not sure what else he has to prove in college. Also seems like kids are declaring for the draft earlier and earlier.

I doubt he does, but like you said not sure what else he has to prove. Sure hope he is back and expect it.

As smart as he is he has an engineering degree to get and fall back on. A lot of these athletes don't have that option. Maybe next year but no way do I see him leaving this year.

Think he’s more likely to use up his eligibility than leave after this year. I don’t think he’s a lock to make a roster, and I’d think he’d want to finish that ME degree. He could maybe even finish by the semester next year.
