Yeah, in mafia. I didn't know that carried over into the rest of his life. I feel like I don't even know him anymore.
I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo lost last night. I had no idea what to do. :sad: :cry:
Glenbrooke Park is a cool setting. Feels like an oldschool streetball court that would fit the Pickup Game theme pretty well.
Driving around Ankeny today, I saw a couple outdoor courts. One off Irvinedale just north of Oralabor, the other off Oralabor heading west from Irvinedale. Those are a couple options for us.
Anyone still play? My daughter is playing softball in Des Moines all next week and thought I might make a trip up north 20 minutes or so and school some CFers.
We generally don't play during the summer since most of the group is students.
Yeah now that I have my fitbit I'm interested to see how many steps I can rack up playing pickup. Getting a group together might be hard whether it's summer or fall being most of the regulars who were students graduated last semester.
Oh well. I'm going to have to make the pilgrimage again during the school year. Tough with our family life, but I'll figure it out.
Fitzy and cubs are still gonna be in Ames this fall and pretty sure vikes is down to play whenever so hopefully it's not too tough to get some games in
We should put a group together for some outdoor, if needed. Ankeny has a few outdoor parks with courts, and DMACC just built a small new court on-campus that I believe is fair game for public usage. Not a "perfect" setup [rubber floor stuff, bolted on double-rim [not breakaways], but it's still a new complex no less.
