CF Pickup Basketball

I was on the B team in junior high as well. My freshman coach told me to shoot more once I got to that level and then I led the JV in scoring my sophomore year.

Played limited varsity minutes jr. year and then started senior year. Didn't shoot very well my last year unfortunately... Oh well. Positive is I was the only starter on our team with a positive assist/turnover ratio lol
 
My worst sports moment in HS was losing to Albia in bball. It was terrible. You just don't lose to Albia when you're from Pella.

Yeah they were all pretty good athletes but didn't always make the smart pass. So I guess you could say that. We didn't have a post over 6'2 my senior year, and prior to that we'd had about 10 consecutive years of 6'6 or taller. So it was a bit difficult for coach to adjust to being much more guard oriented.
 
We lost 1 game total when I was in Junior High. I was the kid that cherry picked when everybody else rebounded. There were a few games where I went for 12+ points. Hit high school, played freshman year, played varsity late in the year, then didnt play till senior year. I was basically the Melvin Ejim/Chris Babb of the team, did all the dirty work and was the teams lockdown defender.

Yeah we beat them on a free throw with 2 seconds left in the game in the 2nd round of the playoffs my junior year.

Then senior year they spanked us by 30 on our homecourt lol.

I never played in high school. By that I mean I didn't go out for basketball. Only played in 7th and 8th grade. Dibs on covering Rulzzz since it sounds like we'd be a good matchup.
