CCL Starts Tonight!

Lost? You guys still have flip phones? :)

Referring to which school we are supposed to be going to tonight, schmuck!

However, I will freely admit that most of the time, my smart phone is smarter than me. Probably why I keep PapaLew around...he seems to interpret his better. :)

the problem I have with my "smart" phone is, I'm a polite person so the voice activation part keeps getting confused when I say "please" and "thank you".

Hi, two things. First, can anyone that was at CCL Wednesday verify that when Deonte was shooting a free throw, Monte went behind him and yelled FORE at the start of his shot. I was seated at the other end of the bleachers at the top so I wasn't sure. Second, since this Friday's games are at Stilwell Jr. High instead of Valley Southwoods, does anyone know what the seating there is like? How about the parking?

As GTO asked "wharparking?" Your user name is "wharparking." Is this a common concern of yours?

Only for basketball. Seriously, my friend and I are handicapped and that parking around Hilton on game day is a joke.

It seems like they have good drop-off spots at Hilton, but not good parking. Do they not offer a shuttle cart for basketball like for football?

Not to my knowledge. i'm pretty sure this is one of those things that will take someone getting badly hurt before they seriously address the issue. Fortunately, my friend and I don't mind getting there 2-3 hours early in order to get a close spot.

They do allow you to drop passengers off at the south entrance (under the bridge), but that won't help if it's just the two of you. Have you tried contacting the AD to swing some kind of deal?

Hope they take better care of you in the future. You sound like outstanding Fanatics.

Niang jammed his thumb tonight. He finished the game and looked OK, but he's got a big old bag of ice on it now during the second game. Hope it's nothing serious.

If Niang, Monte, Cooke, Naz and McKay didn't play in the CCL at all this year I would be pretty happy

What's the point? So we can see videos of them dominating HS kids and D2 kids?

Cooke and Naz are coming off injuries, so no point in rushing back for CCL. McKay, Niang and Morris have nothing to gain, especially when you consider our summer trip.

Burton can shake off the rust. Babb and Nick can get all the extra b-ball they can handle. Nader can maybe find his groove with the ball in his hands more. Thomas is at a position where we have a little depth, so all those guys can benefit.

If we had a little more depth, I wouldn't be as concerned, but with the way the last 3 months have went, and our lack of depth, I feel like there's more downside risk than upside potential.

So if they don't play in the CCL they won't be playing basketball? This isn't football. they are going to play either way. If healthy, of course. Nobody is advocating having them play if they aren't up to it.

Lol just stop.
