Cat Help

I keep my dogs and cats on Taste of the Wild. They are a very reasonably priced grain-free pet food. You can get it at any Theisans or farm store. My dog and cat thrive on it. It is very possible that your pet has an allergy to something in the Purina food. I would try switching food first. Using an elevated bowl can have positive and negative effects on pet's stomachs.
Good luck!!

We had a cat that had puking and other end problems for a while. It had to be put on a special 'no fat' food. Something about any fat in her food or table scraps or anything would mess with her system. Fixed all the problems, though the food was like 10x the price of normal food.

My previous cat would did have this throwing up problem as well, it would come and go, but happened 3-4 times a week. I finally found out that her liver was failing, so I had to put her down...

Our cat pukes all the time too, usually from dry food so we cut that out, and switched to only canned food. That slowed down the puking episodes, but didn't eliminate them. Pretty sure it's hairballs, because one out of about 10 of them will have a big hairchunk in it.

I got to the point that I told the wife that we either get rid of the cat, or she cleans up any puke. Problem solved, I don't clean up puke anymore.
