Carver packed them in tonight

I don't mind if all the Iowa teams do well, as long as Iowa State is consistently superior to the others long-term.

Here's a wacky snapshot for ya, among the "Big 4":
Iowa State: 9-4 overall, 0-2 in Big 12, tied for last.
Iowa: 9-8 overall, 0-4 in Big Ten, tied for last.
UNI: 8-7 overall, 0-3 in MVC, tied for last.
Drake (remember Drake?!): 9-7 overall, 3-0 in MVC, tied for first.

If Iowa doesn't win at Rutgers, could go winless until season finale vs. Northwestern. I suppose Fran will squeeze a couple mild upsets along the way (something like home games vs IU or Minnesota).

I remember people were saying we were going to lose to UNI by 10 +, look at UNI now lol.

Yeah, UNI has gone a bit off the rails since then. At least Iowa State didn't lose to either UNI or Iowa. We might not have a great season, but apparently those teams are worse.

They're miles worse.

Honestly have to wonder when the player revolt will come, and Fran completely looses his team. Couple of good, athletic guards and they would be fighting for 3rd or 4th in the Big 10. Just baffles me that Fran can't see that, or just want to prove me wrong....

Hopefully this is what gets Fran out of there. There's just no reason to be this bad at this point of his career. I honestly don't know what the team does at practice because it sure as hell doesn't seem to be basketball fundamentals.

Fran at Iowa is the best thing for ISU. If he is gone then Iowa may get some real talent in and the talent he is getting will have no choice but to go to UNI, making that program better.

How bad is the MVC?
