Capital City League

Luke Anderson was exactly the name I had in mind; first time I saw him at Cap City I thought - whoa, he needs some serious development if he's going to play at ISU. Not sure what the staff saw in him.

A lot of the Prohm whiffs weren't egregious ones in the relative sense --

Tre Jackson was great for Western Carolina in the SoCon last year (same conference as Paveletzke).

Caleb Grill was an above-average Big 12 guard for 1.75 seasons in Ames before things went haywire. He's about to play for Missouri. It did take him until his third season to contribute at a P6 level, though.

Jaden Walker was a low-end starter for East Carolina in the American.

Darlinstone Dubar was one of the better players on a Hofstra team that shared the regular-season title for the Colonial Athletic Association last year, though they didn't get the bid in a one-bid league.

Tyrese Hunter was a hit (if you give Prohm any credit there). He's a turncoat but a good player.

At least a few of those guys were/are P6 players and most of the others belonged at a mid-major or a low-major. Recruiting a player who belongs in the MVC instead of the Big 12 is a miss, sure, but when you compare it to the other recruits late in Prohm's tenure... oh boy oh boy oh boy...

Marcedus Leech ended up at Davenport University. The Panthers play in Division II.

Luke Anderson transferred to South Florida (American) and evidently had the same problem he had in Ames. He ended up at Florida Southern College. The Mocs play in Division II.

Dudley Blackwell ended up at Clayton State. The Lakers play in Division II. They went 3-25 (1-17) last season. Blackwell only played in eight games (maybe injured?) and started two of them.

Xavier Foster turned out to be an all-timer of a knucklehead and barely played for $MU last year.

I can tolerate a few misses where guys ended up at mid-majors. Something more like Tristian Enaruna turning into a stud for Cleveland State. But that is a ******* lot of Division II players up there.
