First I've heard of this kid. Looks like KU, Kentucky, Michigan State, Oregon, LSU are the leaders to get him. What is his connection to Cap City? That league is going to be worth a visit to go watch with all our newcomers and this kid.

Not sure if it's the same guy, but his guardian is someone living in Des Moines, and got him signed up for the league. Even if he's only around for a couple games because of AAU and camps, etc, having a lottery pick in the league is pretty memorable.

Harrison Barnes played like 3 games while he was a Junior or so.

You're only allowed to have 2 players from each D1 college per team in leagues like this, so with him out a big chunk, probably doesnt make sense to have his half season take a spot from someone else who'll be there all year. With a full roster of scholarship guys already, Steyer or the other walk-ons were out for the same reason.
