Campustown Redevelopment

That's a HUGE upgrade for that corner. That whole block was a **** hole.

The Swift Stop was convenient when I was living in the apartments on the NW corner of Hyland and Lincoln Way though.

Driving through my " Home Sweet Home" campustown over the Holidays, it looked like a few building were getting demolished on Lincoln way right across Friley.

Is there something in the works or planned for this location? Thanks!

Building area-'ish' that looked like it was being demolishing.

Yes there is a new building planned there. Think it is going slow due to a dispute/negotiations with city. New building will replace old building with Taste Place (which is moving to a new location nearby) to the building that was demolished recently. Here is an old rendering:

Can't believe there hasn't been any updated renderings for this place. Not real wild about the look as it's portrayed now. Definitely think something needs to be done though.

I know that rendering's old, but that looks like a place that if it isn't already burned, it should be.

I wish more local options moved in.
Something like Quintons would have been great for campustown before the flood of sandwich chains.
Great place in Stillwater is the Garage.
Keltic Star in Manhattan.

Campus town could use some of those types of places.
