Campus jobs?

During the school year, go be an intramural ref. Randy Heimerman is quite possibly the coolest guy on campus and is easy to work for. Plus you can work every night if you want. He's also looking for a few people during the summer so check it out if you can. It's easy money and in the afternoons so if you work at Veenker, you can still do that. I worked at Veenker one summer... it was alright. Most the guys there are "turf" guys and take it FAR too seriously... But it was still a good summer job for hanging around campus and being able to go to Paddy's every Tuesday night...

Heimerman isn't at Iowa State anymore.

I worked for the Foundation for one semester. It was a job. That's it. I was always on the "haven't given before list", which of course kept my expectations of being very successful low. I got pulled out most nights for the pep talk. One semester was more than enough for me. Funny, now I have a hard time saying no to the kids that call me because I've been there and know how hard that job is...

I worked at Parks Library for a year, Reserve Room. That was a good job, pretty easy too.


My favorite job was with ISU Surplus/Asset Recovery. The warehouse used to be on campus, behind Entomology. On campus parking pass, great pay, and flexible hours. I worked on computers and regularly got out on the trucks for pick up. We always had a blast! But they've moved out by Research Park, so if being near campus is important, that wouldn't work...

Anyone ever work for the ISU foundation call center? I've heard most people hate it but I'm getting desperate looking for some work haha
