Campbell Still in Demand?

I hate hate hate how true this is.
Except A) that's basketball and B) there's bball coaches that have peaked at ISU.
Campbell is the right coach for the job, but he needs to really evaluate some of the position coaches in the offensive side of the ball. Specifically at OL.
At least we don't have to give him a big raise at years end to fend off suitors. That will save some money. 
I think if we could get the Oline to a decent level consistently I think Manning would look a lot better.
at least isu will be playing in a g5 conference soon. might be able to get 8 wins
Matt Campbell is ELITE in building a culture and program but him and his staff have gotten outcoached by nearly every P5 staff we have played over the past 2 years. If it wasn’t for Heacock, it would be Paul Rhoads bad.
Wisconsin? Better all around program with big ten money. Just saying they come calling you listen right? It’s all about money don’t give a **** how much coach speak they do it’s all about money.
ISU is amazingly easy to gameplan against now. Heck, Iowa should have beaten us. As they say, the bloom is off the rose.
Tell me how you keep a staff if it goes winless in conference and it wasn't due to mass/significant injuries.

Two years of drastic underachievement.
Beginning to wonder how much of the 2020 season success was dodging major covid issues, and playing teams that just didn't avoid it and players stay disciplined as well as we did. And we didn't have to play Iowa. It sure has been a s**t show since beating Oregon. Last year a historic flop.
When you look at the last 7 seasons with the outlook that 2020, the COVID season, was a fluke, everything happening now seems not that far from the norm.
That's good, because Campbell will never send Manning packing. The most we can hope for is a new OL coach, and even that's unlikely.
He is. The average fan from around the country probably feels like it’s hard to sustain success at Iowa State and that Campbell should have left a year or two ago. Hopefully Campbell doesn’t feel the same way. Complain all we want about this year, but Campbell has coached the best stretch in Iowa State football history.
Yeah, I’ve said for a year that the sentiment was growing nationally that he’s simply hit the ceiling for success at ISU. He is still in big demand, but there will be some schools that wouldn’t be able to sell it to their fans after the past two years.
