Cam Lee is one of my favorite players. I have liked him ever since I watched him during the Cap City league. He seemed like a very good kid. I was very excited when he got his first action this year and I still get pumped when he comes in the game. My wife thinks I am a stalker.
I have been happy to see all the attention for him lately, but hopefully people don't get too carried away. I think it would be amazing if he developed into a consistent role player, but lets not expect him to be all big 12 or anything.

Great to see student athletes like Cameron on the roster. I think GM got pushed into a corner with a couple of his early recruits, but looking down the road I see alot of kids who will be in Ames for a number of years. Don't count Cameron out from being something special. He has all the physical tools and a great head on his shoulders. This combination could be lethal. Gone are the days seeing names like Jerome Harper on our commitment lists(eesh).
Ok -I am admittedly BIASED as I am his uncle. Regardless, he doesn't have to be all Big 12. Let's just remember that he has 2x as many steals as Haluska and plays 3.5 minutes per game. My math is fuzzy but I think he averages about 1/5 of the time Haluska does on the floor. Oh and Haluska has 3 more steals than Marcus Brister...need I say more. Give Cam 10 minutes on the floor and I assure you he will make a difference in the outcome of the game. He gets steals, blocks, goes to the floor and pressures the ball like no one else on the team.
He can contribute consistently now. He may not get you 20 a game but, he is not going to turn the ball over like crazy and meanwhile he will force turnovers. What good is a player doing by scoring 10 points if he gives up 15 and turns the ball over?
