Caleb Grill has entered the portal and committed to Mizzou

I'm a Caleb Grill fan. But I'm in the camp that thinks he needs significant help. Maybe I'm projecting myself here, because as an athlete I went through something similar (not on this high of a level). I ended up walking away from my sport voluntarily, which was clearly the right move in hindsight.

And to pile on here, he needs help and there's nothing wrong with needing help. We all do sometime.

Stop shitting all over the guy because he didn’t make it here and only posting when he has a tough game or moment.

Move on. I hope the kid figures it out.
Don't thinking many of the posts tonight are crapping on the kid. It more than opposite that we are generally concerned about him. That's where my post was going anyway.

I wasn’t talking about your post and I agree. However, the only time this thread gets bumped is when he has a bad game.

He got undercut, then slapped the floor because it wasn't called. Then the ref walked into him while he was standing up which caused the bump. Nothing to see here. The ref caused the whole problem. Grill was turning away when the bump happened and kept walking to the bench. The 1st "T" was probably earned, although the ref blew the call in the first place which led to it. The 2nd "T" was incredibly weak, arguably caused by the ref getting into Grill's space.

Disagree. It was Grill’s own fault. Both T’s were deserved.

That was an impressive comeback by Mizzou.

Minnesota sucks. They blew a 97.8% win expectation.

Mizzou got clowned by Memphis in Columbia the second game of the season. The Tiger have some work to do if they want to play themselves back into NCAA tournament contention.

Good schedule, though... still have to play Pitt, Wichita State, Kansas (in Lawrence!), Seton Hall, and Illinois. Why can't we have a fun non-conference schedule like that sort of setup?

:)

Grill isn't exactly on fire down there. He's 4/20 (20%) from three so far.

We all know he's streaky but that's bad. An ORTG of 100.9 isn't exactly lighting the world on fire.

He was closer to 105-110 during his second stint in Ames.

He fell on purpose/flopped then had a moment including talking **** to the ref, then continuing to talk. Good on the ref for taking action before he did something else.

The clip looked like an extension of last season. I'd guess he's not on that team by January.

So did he get Td up for flopping or did he say something to the ref for the first one? Can't you get a technical for flopping now?

Something happened to Grill in between two years ago and last year. He seemed like. Typical normal kid. Then last year he showed up with a strange attitude. Not sure what’s up but he’s not the same guy.
He is at an age where mental health diseases show. How Fred puled Royce of is still top notch..
