Who are you to say what's best for Cael and his family? You haven't walked in his shoes, and you don't know what transpired behind closed doors.
I can't imagine that he came to this decison lightly. Moving one's family across the country after putting down roots in a place is no easy task, and I'm speaking from experience her.
It doesn't matter if you think he's making a good decision or not. The only opinion that matters is his, and I can imagine his wife.
