BYU Postgame Thread

Bunch of junk yard dawgs on the team and I love it. Prepare for other fans to call us dirty, unsportsmanlike, etc....And I'll just smile. That's what makes sports exciting. #JYD

My son has a plausible explanation. Maybe Kane was just putting his hands out at chest-height so that he could strip the ball as Mika went up with it. They had been doing it all day when the ball went in to Mika or #33. In this case, Kane was moving toward him while putting his hands up, but Mika moved forward without straightening up. Certainly not intentional. Hope Mika is okay. Looking forward to what Hoiberg says about it.

Because Kane has led the country in annual number flagrant fouls twice, this looked bad for Kane. Not that it matters. Great great win.

Unless i missed something i thought they were fine and will be going for them from here on out. It was a tough game and players rub each other the wrong way in those types of games.

Did anyone else come away not liking anything about BYU, the University not the team. Glad they didn't make it in the Big 12.

Morris drew at least two fouls while driving against Mika putting him in foul trouble. That was big.

Cannot believe we got out of that two game stretch 2-0. I told myself before the season I'd be thrilled splitting those two.

Great, great job by our guys! Boys win at home, men win on the road. What a couple great resume builders already, and it's only November 20th.

I love winning games we shouldn't have won. Talk about playing terrible..
Give both teams the credit they deserve. You do not beat that BYU team at home playing terrible.

BYU was handed the game by the way the two violent fouls were handled in such a lopsided way. ISU was that much better than BYU that they couldn't take it.

Similar violent fouls by ISU and BYU resulted in:
3 BYU free throws
2 fouls on ISU players
1 extra posession for BYU
1 ejection of key ISU player
0 ISU free throws
0 ISU extra possessions
0 BYU players ejected
0 BYU fouls

That's being handed a game. Congrats ISU for stealing it back!

More egregious than that is the disparity in how they treated minor contact from Mika and Georges.

I love that win. I love this team. I love our coach. I love this thread and all of you guys. Just full of love tonight. Now going to see if I can share some of that love with my wife.

Note: Had we lost at the end, I may have jumped off my roof. Granted, I live in a ranch so I wouldn't have died but I may have rolled an ankle or something.

This is better.
