Burrito Chain Thread

Also, what's up with the lack of Qdoba locations? I know of 2 in the Chicagoland area that have recently closed, leaving 3 total in all of the suburbs. I believe they are in Wheaton, Schaumburg, and Arlington Heights. I think there are only 7 total in all of the Chicago metro. WTF Qdoba?

The Culver's thread became a war between Pancheros and Chipotle, so bring all that crap over here.
Personally I don't think you can beat Pancheros. The one by the mall in WDM is incredible. The one in Ames is ok, not as good. Chipotle used to be pretty good, but it has gone way downhill. Qdoba doesn't touch either.

El Famous Burrito in the Chicagoland area. I realize they are not in Iowa, but they make the best burritos. They are worth the stop if you visit Chicago or the suburbs. I ate there at least once a week when I was in grad school. They advertise burritos the size of your head!

El Famous Burrito

Qdoba>Pancheros>>>Chipolte. Qdoba has the amazing queso sauce. Panch's makes their own tortilla AND they have a queso. Chipolte....... Non of the above. Also, I am a HUGE fan of Chula sauce on my burrito. Panch's got rid of it for their own brand. Chipolte does not have it. Qdoba has it!!

Anybody been to Bandit Burrito in Johnston? Heard some things about it, wondering what CF has to say.

La Fuente's burritos are the best.

This assumes you've had approximately a gallon of margarita and you're 16 years old with a fake ID. Now most likely, the picture on the fake ID is someone that is around 30 years old, that has different color skin than you, and possibly includes the name "McLovin" - but is still accepted by you kind hispanic server.

Mr. Burrito has amazing meat. It is the most authentic Mexican food in Ames. The burritos are probably the 3rd best thing on the menu.

With this post, I realized that I never actually order a burrito at a small "authentic" Mexican place anymore. They're like one of the worst Mexican foods. Tacos, enchiladas, tortas, rellenos, even a ******* chimichanga...they all beat burritos. I don't even know why I bother arguing.

Best Mexican food in Ames, bar none, is Es Tas. Those tacos are unbeatable. I've missed 2 Taco Tuesdays all summer. Can't get enough.

As long as we are on "Best Mexican Food in Ames," I will plug my favorite, El Azteca

Moe's is bar none, the best. If you haven't had it, you haven't lived.

Every Monday is Moe's Monday... $5 for anything you want on a burrito, including guac, bacon, queso, etc.

Plus, every meal comes with free chips n salsa!

El Rey Burritos in the DSM area is pretty solid. More known for their girth (thats what she said), but they are pretty authentic.

I love me some Fighting Burrito. Oh, and DirecTV is better than Dish. And B-Bops is the best fast food place.
