Bulaga (sp?) out???

The best player on the field for either team and he plays left tackle.

But how can he be better than everyone? Does he play left tackle or trade off other positions as well.

I really hope he is not hurt.
1. You never want to see anyone hurt, even if its a hawk.
2. Excuses Excuses Excuses

If Iowa State beats Iowa and a Hawk fan tells you that it's because Bulaga was out (if he is) that fan is no better than a dosry5. :-)

That would depend how they beat Iowa wouldn't it? I mean, if ISU is killing whoever is in for Bulaga wouldn't that be a legitimate reason why ISU won?

I have a problem using excuses for why a team won or lost a game. If Iowa State dominates the line of scrimmage without Bulaga, than obviously the other lineman aren't/weren't pulling their weight as well. I still believe turnovers and special teams will determine the outcome of this game, not one player being out.

If this is true that really hurts Iowa - Bulaga was going to be the guy to help get that line in sync with Calloway and Vandevelde returning this game. The Hawks could have some OL issues like they had against UNI - if this is true.

With ISU's defnesive line, I dont see this being an issue.

pass protection would be my main concern. It's not ISU's d-line that concerns me, it's more the blitzers. Going in, I figured at least the blindside would be protected.

I agree with this. Makes sense.
