I saw in the weather thread you are heading to Jamaica this week. I leave to Jamaica on Friday. What resort are you staying at? We are staying at Starfish Trelawny until the 21st.

Yes I do feel very lucky to be heading to Jamaica. But, my wife knows it's the only way she can keep me from moving out of Nebraska/Iowa. She has to take me somewhere warm every year during the winter or I'll flip lol.
I will miss the ISU vs Iowa game though. That kind of sucks, but doesn't suck enough for me to stay back

Yeah seriously, wasnt it about 6 mos? Im starting to see a pattern emerge. I think he is a rum-runner and the Feds should look into it.
Though Negril is nice, he's really missing out by staying in a inclusive restort.

I hope so. We told him about eating at the KFC in MOBay and then he posted the picture of it:biglaugh:
Nope the food is great. Less flour on the chicken, but much better taste. They have original (with spices), spciey, or BBQ. I think for a bucket deal it was $1350JA
We delt with Jamaician currency for the first four weeks and then took our tourist weekend in Negril. We were shocked when someone told us that the price was $10 (thinking it was in Jamaician). The waitress was looking at us really wierd for not thinking it was US.
Just throwing this out there. I've been to Jamaica before and it was bomb. I went to Ocho Rios and Negril.
I am going to Puerto Rico at the end of the month.. Has nothing to do with anything other than I'm pumped to be getting into some warm weather!

Montego Bay is where Starfish is. If you go to Jamaica, RIU in Negril is absolutely the best. Very good food, service is awesome, and it's in a cove like area where the waves are basically absent. RIU = :notworthy:
