If the good athletes decline the free education, the NCAA has no value, and there won't be a scholly for some scrub to have instead of the fast kid.

It isn't class envy to want fair value for your contribution.

There are plenty of individuals willing to play top-level college ball. Not too worried about the pipeline drying up.

Several have stated we think what they receive is already fair, so asking for more based on what someone else is getting, is envy.

Again, don't think it is fair? Leave and open up your place for someone else. The line is long behind you.

Not true. Non-profits can make a profit. It's just that profit has to stay within that agency. The profit can't go to line the pockets of the boss or staff. Other than that, a non-profit is just like any other business in that it would not be a good idea to run it with a deficit or even a $0 sum balance.

U R so right....I know non profits that make millions of dollars.....just think of hospitals that charge 25000 for one night visits or churches who rake in big time dollars ...........oh yes then there are athletic programs.....

Capitalist defense of America's most communist industry. I find these to be just weird.

Next time someone asks me for something I can easily give him, I'm going to ask him to STFU because he has it better than a Syrian refugee.

It certainly is a strange argument to use capitalist free-market rhetoric to support a gigantic cartel that artificially fixes "wages." Very 1984 dystopia feel to it.
