Pinstripe bowl is the worst bowl when factor in weather, cost and location. I do not think it is close. Around New Years, hotels will be $600/night. How much for a flight? How about a ticket to the game? How about cost for everything else. A pair would probably spend $1,500 if they go out for just one night.
If the Big 12 only got 1 team in the BCS bowls, it probably also means that OSU is going to the Fiesta bowl, not the national championship right??

i think it is telling that ISU officials have not said a word, that makes me think pinstripe is still in play...
We'll know at 8. Nothing is official till then. This is all rumor and speculation.
Both are bad but as we have seen throughout the years, merit (W/L and SOS) does not matter when it comes to bowl games.

how could you read this thread and be upset if we actually do go to the insight bowl? you'd rather go play in the blizzard bowl?
i have a lot of hawk friends and it would be a fun match up. CERTAINLY not the best bowl scenario, but fun nonetheless.
