Bowl Situation Thread

I don't get how this all works. If we don't want to go to NY and Mizzou doesn't want to go to NY and the Pinstripe Bowl doesn't want us in NY, how do we end up in NY? Who makes the decision where we go?

The bowls have an order they get to pick. They can take any team that is avaliable to play in the bowl. If a bowl picks you all you can do is accept the invite or decline and not go to a bowl

But, again, how does Mizzou stay out of NY? If Texas goes Holiday bowl where does that put Mizzou?

Not sure I'm ready to believe that: aTm going to Meineke Bowl, and they would compete with us for the Holiday. Since they aren't going there, that leaves who going to San Diego? Mizzou? Don't buy it.

Fiesta - OSU
Cotton- KSU
Alamo- Baylor
Insight- OU
Holiday- TX
Mieneke- ATM
Pinstripe- ISU

At Large- Mizzou

So right now it looks like this, as far as I can tell:

OSU - BCS
KSU - Cotton
Alamo - Baylor
Insight - OU
Holiday - Texas
Meineke - A&M
Pinstripe - ISU

Mizzou left out as an at-large. Does this seem right from everything we're hearing?

Wow...Texas to Holiday all but confirms that KSU didn't get a BCS bid. Crazy. Unless Insight picked Missou over Texas, A&M, and ISU. That would even be more crazy.

I love the spirit of my fellow Cyclones wishing for a miracle.. when all signs are pointed to NYC!

Please be wrong!

TCU to Poinsettia Bowl, so no BCS for them. Does that mean Boise got a BCS bid? or a big 12 team?

Boise in Sugar then, not TCU. RT @Schrotenboer: TCU not in BCS, instead headed to Poinsettia Bowl vs. Louisiana Tech
