Came here to post that. I thought they'd go to a better bowl, but with them being 6-6 and leaving the conference, I understand it.

I've always wanted to go to NYC...but not in the dead of winter. I'm not traveling from cold city to cold city to watch a bowl game. Bowl games are a reward, not a punishment.
