If you wanna see another 9-6 snoozefest, go ahead. But if you would like to see a 39-36 game that was entertaining, you better put your votes on OSU.

Yeah I thought that was well said too. Really give people something to think about. Especially since most people I know thought the first lsu-bama game was boring and would much rather watch a 39-36 game.

Excellent point; if the plane crash was affecting them that much, it would presumably be for the entire game and not just the second half.

There are so many factors that influenced the outcome of that football game, and anyone who singles out one and claims it to be the only deciding factor is an idiot, be it the plane crash or otherwise.
 
I don't mind if voters think that OSU wasn't on top of their game for their loss to us. It may help get them in the title game, which is what we want anyway, and if they do I'm sure we'll get some free pub as being mentioned as the only team that beat them.
 
So what do we know?

1. There are only 2 teams getting left out of bowls, likely 7-5 Western KY and 6-6 Ball St.

2. BCS at large bids are a mess. If B12 gets 2 BCS teams, ISU gets a B12 bowl.

3. If ISU doesn't get a Big 12 bowl, it appears the available bowls are

-New Mexico
-Hawaii
-Military (DC)
-Fight Hunger (San Francisco)
 
Go Cowboys! Way to beat Stoops and his arrogant sooners!

Bring on LSU! OSU deserves a shot MUCH more than Alabama deserves TWO shots!!!!

What do you mean if voters think that way? We obviously didn't get OSU's best shot. Oh well, we beat OSU. We beat Nebraska a few years ago,too. Neither time did the opposition play very well but who cares. It still is a W for ISU whether we BEAT a team or if the opposition LOST to us. We're now bowl eligible and playing as good as we have all year. There was a time back in September when we trailed UNI with little hope; yet, we pulled it out. This season has gone unbelievably well for us. Why get caught up on what perception is?

Wisconsin wins a close game does Michigan State fall below Michigan in the rankings if not I think the B12 may just get 2 teams into teh BCS
 
I wonder if were going to see a few deals between bowls. I think you may see a situation where they may try and match up houston or southern miss vs Boise state. So what bowls are open right now if there are some deals may not be the bowls that take the at large teams. I could also see Air Force going to play in the Military bowl
 
I just heard the Fight Hunger Bowl Director say it's UCLA vs. Illinois or Iowa State most likely.
