Still some non-NY6 Bowl ratings I don't see yet (Outback and Citrus), but for FWIW, Cheez It Bowl would be 2nd most viewed non-NY6 bowl (so far). Would also be most watched Cheez It Bowl since 2013.

Not on the graphic, but Purdue/Ten had 5.7M average viewers.

Kind of a perfect storm getting our own slot at a good time against a big program

Because they're on 1 at a time instead of 6 or 8 at a time.

And everybody got the Caesers and MGM app to be bett'n. We are a sedentary society......toilet recliner with the feeding tube and bowl game after bowl game beaming into the cranium.
Anyway......I am not feeling too good that so many people saw that game. really. I don't subscribe to "all publicity is good publicity".....Wish we would have gotten Kentucky......and maybe coached up some under-center quick run plays the last month. Let it go....let it go......

It is interesting that the Rose Bowl has the same number of viewers as a playoff game and that Baylor/Miss had more viewers than ND/OSU. I guess time slots may have an impact.

according to the Internet, ISU vs. TCU (senior day) had 518k viewers

so the cheez-it bowl had like 10x as many viewers

I think the bowl game was our most-viewed game all year actually

1- It's an average of the whole game so the playoff games lost a lot of viewers as they went on, especially Orange Bowl. Rose Bowl was competitive the entire game with lots of scoring.

2 - Correct, Sugar Bowl had its own slot whereas the Fiesta Bowl was competing with Outback and Citrus
