Booker?

I don't care about dunks, I care about touch. Gibson seems to have a nice shot and feel around the basket, he doesn't clank it and chuck it up there. You can see Gibson could be really good for us. Gibson is going to be on the floor a lot and most likely a starter.

I agree. He should start over Ejim, I think. Provides a more true post presence down low and better rebounding. Obviously lose some jump shot ability in that switch, but we have plenty of shooters already.

It's one game against an inferior team, lets not put Percy on the pedestal quite yet.
This. Tonight's opponent was not a good basketball team. I don't think you can realistically draw any meaningful conclusions from this game, other than it was probably a good confidence booster for the guys.

Percy has played in more than one game this year.

I realize that, and I'm excited to see what I think he can become. Let's just remember that we shouldn't realistically expect a lot of performances like we saw tonight until he has more time to develop against better competition.

Allen sounded happy to be playing the point when he was interviewed on the locker room show. He kept talking about how it helped him get into the flow offensively. He also mentioned that he thought the team needed an offensive leader on the floor telling everyone what to do and that he thought he was that guy.

I didn't have high hopes for Booker to start the season, but I will say that I was pleasantly surprised at his early games. I hope he keeps his head up and works through whatever has him in the doghouse right now.

I second this. He's better than I thought he'd be.

Per Bobby La Gesse, CFH on Booker not playing "it was just a decision I made." Sounds like the doghouse.

From the way he acted tonight he might not be out for a while either. He seemed to be pouting the whole night. Was never close to the huddle, didn't walk into the locker room with the teammates at halftime or the end of the game, he was always a good 10 or so steps behind. Just seemed like he didn't want to be there at all tonight.

Does anyone else think that it might be a good thing to bring the rotation down a player? If we aren't going to push it like we thought we would and the most we do is token press, it might be better to not go 9 deep and stick to 8. Especially with Gibson playing so well.

Although Booker might not like that a whole lot, but if a freshman is taking his minutes he should do something about it himself and get them back.

Booker is soft and he seems to be a baby. Definitely the weakest link among the transfers.

Chris Allen maybe finally seeing the fact that they dont win without a PG and so he is finally filling the role he should have all season. Better this way if he takes off than being forced there at the start of the year and having him pout the whole time. If it seems like his idea then he should play harder. Pyschology at its best.

Percy I love you man but dunk the ball. To be honest the starting lineup I'd like to see is Allen at the point, Babb/Mcgee at the 2, Melvin at the 3, Royce at the 4, and Percy at the 5. I think Melvin guarding another teams athletic 3 is ideal. but thats my opinion only.

Does not need to do this.

Railey came in before him, yet to see him yet. injury? or sick? haven't heard anything.

Up to Booker how he handles this. If it motivates him to work harder, then he could be very good for us. He certainly has the body and outside shooting touch.

If not, then his spot may actually be the one that's open next year. I much prefer Railey if he's trying to improve over Booker with a bad attitude.
