Bonus Friday night off topic

Moved younger daughter to ISU today.

Got home an hour ago. Currently an emotional blob planning on staring down the bottom of a bottle of middle shelf bourbon.
On the opposite end of the spectrum my kids (8,5,1) have demanded we go to a park. Currently deciding between Morgan Creek, Wikiup and Lowe)

Moving the baby girl to KSU in the morning. It’s different when it’s the baby. I’ve had a countdown going all summer. Enjoying a ribeye with her now. Oh and bourbon for me.

Moved both of mine 1500 miles away. 2 years apart. Arizona. That really sucked. But they are thriving and so proud of them. Best decision they made was to live where they wanted to live. As opposed to staying close to home to age with us.

Crazy how they're both our daughters but they're both so different. Older daughter, four years ago, I had basically no worries. It was emotional and sad, but I knew she was in her element and didn't worry about her adjusting. Younger daughter is a different person and I do have some real concerns about how she'll adjust. Man how it can wear on you.

Congrats on KSU. Traitor. :)

Put the CF down and enjoy her, the ribeye and the bourbon! You’re not spending time with her if your on the phone talking to us.

If she's anything like my daughter she probably had friends over who she wasn't going to see for a while either. That was our last night. Good time together but she also wanted to hang with her friends.
