Have cousins in Cali and they don't usually get this kind of weather until December or January. October for them is fire month after rainy seasons grows new vegetation which in turn dries out over the dry season (summer) which in turn burns in the fall which in turn will grow new vegetation during the rainy season.........rinse and repeat.

Happy for all the wildfire firemen and locals in Northern California, hopefully this will closeout the 2021 fire season. But rain can do some serious damage in previously burned areas with mudslides, etc.

I heard on the radio that it may be the worst storm to ever hit that area.
