Bohannon out for year

So I have a question what if a player just sat out every game against MVSU etc. and then just picked chose which games they played in throughout the year? Like what if a guy plus his tenth game in the Sweet 16 then shuts it down? Does he get another year?

Really with him getting a medical redshirt and what Iowa has coming back, they could be a very good team next year. The only problem could be if Garza keeps playing like he has the rest of the year, he may end up on a few All American teams and then skip his senior season.

If that happened that would leave Iowa with horrible knees on Pensil and the kid that red shirted last year and blew out his ACL this year at the 5 position.
Why would Garza skip his senior season?

Jorbo is probably going to regret not saving a game for their National Title match-up ;)

Why would Garza skip his senior season?

Continues to play the way he has, and makes 1st or 2nd All American, allowing him to end up with a draft project in the high 1st round. He takes then guaranteed money and heads to then NBA.

I doubt it happens, but he has really improved over last year. Put up over 40 against Michigan on their floor, was unstoppable against us, I know it sounds silly, but it might just play out that way.

You know CyTwins, you think my statement is funny, and I hate the hawks, but outside of the big kid from Kansas, Garza did more damage to ISU than any other center we play this year. against us he had a double double, 21/11. Against Minn. 21/10, Michigan, 44/8, Syracuse 23/9.

He is playing like a high draft choice, and I hope he gets it and leaves.

Been embarrassed 3 out of the last 4.

The problem is that ISU has had so much turnover on the team, there is no one on the team that has the fire of a 4 year guy like George Niang, or Naz, etc. As far as I know Young is the only guy on the team that has been there more than 1.5 years. I guess Jacobson might be here for 2.5 years.

Can't. They can only play in the first 50% of their schedule thus, in Jorbo's case, 10 out of first 15 games. If they play in the back half of the season, it has to count.

Garza is a really good college player, but he isn’t an NBA prospect. He’s too slow and unathletic for a big in the NBA.

Unfortunately Garza was born about 20 years too late in regards to an NBA career but we’ll see. He’s made incredible strides....

I LOVE Garza but he's not a first round pick. He might not even be a second round pick.
