Bobcat in Cedar Rapids

We just had a patient in the office that is claiming there is a Bobcat on the loose and roaming around the main Rockwell Collins campus.

What?







Personally, I'm hoping it's a Cougar.

One was walking around our neighborhood a few years ago, such a cool animal!

It only took a few hours before some neighborhood deplorables tried to kill it.

The Rockwell Collins Campus is only 2 miles from the edge of Cedar Rapids. Not terribly surprising. About 3 or 4 years ago there was a wild turkey that would block traffic on the street in front of Rockwell for over a month.

About ten years ago one was hit by a car in western Iowa. Our school mascot was the Bobcat so our high school science teacher picked up the carcass and took it to a taxidermist. I was also surprised by how small they are.
