but the common thing with madden, white, and saget is that they were so ingrained in our culture. I remember watching games that madden called. I watched the golden girls as a kid and again as a college kid with friends and as an adult (as an aside the golden girls holds up). I’m about 5 years too old to have a real attachment to saget but those of you younger than 35 probably really remember watching that show.

He had a sneaky dark sense of humor and there were some pretty funny stories about between takes stuff.

I think he was also known for being very emotional and sincere in his relationships so it will hit hard.

I saw him do standup comedy in socal in 2017 at the Irvine Improv. Was absolutely hilarious.

Also, that movie he directed with Norm McDonald "Dirty Work". Is quite easily in my top ten of comedy movies.
