Bo Williams

Personally I hope he doesn't play 4 years for us, as long as the reason is that he's such an absolute stud he goes pro!

You dont see the beauty in this KMAC,,, Bo has already had a year of strength training at UF.. Give him another year with Coach Shep, we have a monster in creation

I hear ya 33, curious, what was the injury he sustained at UF that kept him off the field was it a shoulder injury - anything but a knee i hope....

This is exactly what we need, build the foundation (line) and then bring in talented skill positions and allow them to really go off!!!!

Now get Bedford.....that guy looks awesome to me....

This is too good to be true. Surley their is something terrible lurking in the background. Anyone checked his criminal record? The NCterribleAA will find something wrong with the transfer and take 10 scollies and put us on probation for 20 years. ISU just isn't allowed to have players of this quality fall into their arms. How did we get this guy? What motivated him to come north? Has to be a real interesting story there.

Regardless 3 years or 4, it's a great pick up and exciting to see. It'd be great to get back to the tradition of having a 1,000 plus yard rusher annually.

I thought you couldn't medical red shirt unless you have regular red shirted first????

I'm not 100% certain, but I think you can have a medical redshirt regardless of if you have red-shirted previously.

I kind of feel bad for the guy. Didn't he transfer here because he didn't like the spread offense Florida was running? He came here looking for an offense that would run the ball more, and I am not convinced our new spread offense is going to allow that to happen. Hopefully he finds his niche in the offense... he sounds like a very talented athlete.

It's a mixed bag for Bo I would say.

He didn't like Florida's system because it relies too heavily on the QB (Tebow) running than the running backs. Meyer is known for throwing his backs in the doghouse after one mistake.

Herman has said if the talent is in the running backs we will run. If it's in the wide receivers we will pass. I have a feeling Bo is going to get his share of carries.

He'll never get the 25 or 30 carries many believe he wanted but he'll get his chance.

This. I think Herman will make use of the talent given him. He's not going to let one guy rot while another struggles for the sake oh his "system". It seems that his system is play the hand your dealt. I also expect to see the RBs getting alot of touches on swing passes, screens, and bubble screens.

He will catch passes in this offense. Being able to catch passes equals being a better NFL prospect. If he as is good as a lot claim he will get his touches.

From reading through the post...What has happened to ISUclones33...he seemed to have all of the inside info pertaining to Football/CHIZIT and once he is down in Auburn he has not posted since?

If you are a smart football coach you will do whatever it takes to win. I believe rhoads said that we ccould do a 70 30 pass to run one game and then a 60 to 40 run to pass percentage ina game.

You just have to find out what you are going to be most successful with against a particular team and use it against them, weather thats the run or tha pass.
