Blythe @ Combine Today

The combine isn't much I am just ticked off that there is now up to date stats on any players you would think as big as the NFL network is and how much they charge me they would have every players stats on the board by now not just the top preformers.

ESPN people today said the combine is worth about 10-20% of the total grade.

They also keep talking about Vince Young scoring 6 on the Wunderlichter Test - that might be why he had the lowest 2007-08 QB rating at about 59.

Nah, that'd be due to Vick not playing this year (although I'm still blaming that more on the lack of receivers and less on Vick's throwing ability. Case in point - how the Falcons receivers dropped pass after pass this year...)

Not a big surprise from the things my friends have told me that went to high school with Todd. I think he has grown up since then.

Todd has always been CONFIDENT, not cocky. There is a big difference. A lot of people that don't know Todd well do get that feeling from him, but he's actually a really down to earth guy.

A Friend of mine in the MN Vikings Scouting Department tells me that Blythe is at or near the top of the second tier of wideouts. He is also a guy that teams look at who has a chance to make an impact next year.

I didn't watch the combine. Where any clone fans in the stands yelling "Throw it to Blythe! He's open every time!"

I didn't see what Todd's vertical was, but UT's Limas Sweed had a 45" vertical at 6-5 215. That kind of puts Sedrick Johnson's and Jerome Tiller's 40" verticals in perspective.

40 is still great, though. I think Michael Jordan had like a 48" vertical.
