Bloody Mary's

Jug of tomato juice
Salt
Pepper
Lime juice
Lemon juice
Prepared horseradish
Hot sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Olive juice if you have any

Mix all of this up in a jug and leave in the fridge. It gets better the longer it sits. Don’t ask me quantities cause it changes every time but always turns out great. Don’t skimp on the salt is all I will say.

Ok good folks of CF...I've never made a homemade Bloody Mary. So whats the best mix/vodka out there? What other ingredients do you all recommend????

I kind of ask because Fareway has a special on Zing Zang bloody mix with Butchers Block vodka...curious if that was any good as well.

And if anyone out there is really cool, how to make an Old Fashioned..?

Brandy, bitters, simple syrup, muddled orange and cherry. Top with squirt.

Trust me, I'm an expert living in WI.

My family lives in Wisconsin and every time I go home there is an argument of whether whiskey or brandy goes into an old fashioned.

Wisconsin is the only place in the world where ordering an old fashioned gives you brandy. That should end the argument right there on who is "right".

Grabbed a bloody Mary mix at a scuzzy liquor store across from East High. Morning Wood, gotta admit is was really good.

My friends and I had a contest to who could make the best looking bloody mary for New Years Day this year.

I won.

Got a bottle of the Jack's Links hot and spicy this weekend, used it in a couple red bears. I'd call it uneventful but it did have a beef stick after taste.
