If someone is or was managing his finances for him, you'd think they would have had all sorts of questions when the movie was released (particularly after it became a hit). Beyond the people who did this, that would be the next person I'd fault.

Just a few more "deeply religious" folk that will get their just place in the afterlife. Would love to hear them reconcile the falsehoods with their faith.
I would almost guarantee there is a missing piece to this that is not yet public because right now it makes 0 sense.

Will be interested to hear the Touhy's response, but based on the factual info about the arrangement released by Oher, this is about as greedy and slimy as it gets.

Always have thought that movie was awful.... the whole white savior thing just ticked me off to no end. Absolutely hated that movie. Couldn't figure out why everyone seemed to love it?
So it didn't surprise me whatsoever to find out that his "adoptive" parents were actually total POS human beings.
Let's take a moment to appreciate how horribly the movie aged:
- Hugh Freeze is his high school coach
- Oher didn't like how stupid/naive the movie made him look
- Now the whole premise of the movie (family adopting him) is (allegedly) a lie and the Tuohys pulled a Britney on him
The documentary that will ultimately come will be a good watch

I hope Oher takes every penny from them and makes them homeless. Now that would make an incredible story.
I'm so sorry I ever watched that movie. It was just so over the top with making whatever her name is as some savior. And they way the portrayed Oher as such a slow almost dumb kid was a joke. Kid was always bright and an outstanding athlete way before the Touhys took advantage of the situation.
The book tried to paint him as like being a 370 pound kid with the intellect of like a toddler, which ended up not being the case at all.
