Rookie Will Blalock is expected to spend the season in the NBDL.

He may be joined by Amir Johnson, taking the Pistons down to 12 players on the active roster. If that happens, Detroit is expected to add a player before the end of camp, possibly trying to pluck a veteran point guard off the waiver wire.

Still no Curtis Stinson sightings

Curtis signed with a team overseas, Turkey maybe? Same league that Brunner went to I think.

Good move guys...do you think they wish they would have stayed one more year? And that is a serious question.

I wish both well...I hope they make it to the NBA some day.

They are both delighted with their decision. Will has already signed a multi million dollar contract.
Curtis will pull in about 170,000 USD his first year.

I doubt there are any regrets. The challenges in each of their games would not likely have improved more in one more year of college than what they are doing. (not to mention they both will be getting some nice coin while they develop)

Rookie guard Will Blalock and second-year forward Amir Johnson will likely spend the season in Sioux Falls (NBDL).:biggrin9gp:

Do those oversees players really earn that much money? If so, that surprises me...

Some players make something like 300,000 playing overseas. I forgot who makes the most, but it ain't chump change over there.

Let's face it, clearly they weren't overjoyed with ISU or Morgan, or they would have stayed.

Curtis had to support his family. No brainer. Will was a different case.

Actually Will has a kid now too. I don't know when that happened, but there was an article about that in one of Detroit's papers. They both had good reasons to move on.

Shirley should quit trying to play hoops and just write about it full time. That dude is hilarious.

Nobody can blame Stinson and Blaylock going to earn some coin. It's not like they were going to ISU to get their degree or anything like that. I hope they invest their money well. It isn't like either one has too big of a fallback plan.
