Last year's bowl game and the difference between the teams was a pretty clear sign that ISU's not where many fans seem to think they are.

I know we all joke about it but the more they talk about how good we are on TV the more worried I get. That's not a joke I'm being serious.

That’s as embarrassing of a loss as I can remember for a long time. Lost by more and to a lot worse teams, but those were bad ISU teams. This team has talent but they got punched in the mouth and just rolled over.
Are we really sure ISU is that talented?
They're returning a lot of players...but it's from a 7-6 football team in a season where the Big 12 won one bowl game.
This isn’t even close. We played like crap but no one talked near enough about how good that Louisiana team is.
slow your roll way down on that best coach. Earl Bruce and Johnny Majors are the best coaches. Campbell is the coach who has had the best facilities and still has trouble competing every year against lesser teams
Not to me. I predicted a loss today. I love Campbell. I honestly do. But, and I’ll get heat for this I’m sure, I don’t think he’s as great as we think. We aren’t beating teams we absolutely should this many years in for him. OT nail biter last year. Almost lost to drake. Today was honestly not even that close. We got owned. He’s a better coach for us than any we’ve had in decades I do think that. But I just am not as high on him as many are. Hope he proves me wrong.

Pretty much. He needs to overhaul his staff for sure. Other than Heacock the staff has been pretty average since he's been here.
