They don't want the game to be that way. They just want to win. You'd better be able to defend for 35 seconds.

I think it must have something to do with who is the visiting team and home team....I just saw it as Iowa was getting the prime time spot for 2 years in a row, even though ISU was bringing the nationally ranked team. Although, needing OT last year, UNI nearly beat us.

I hope UNI can give Iowa a run for its money.

Heck with that! I hope UNI pounds them into the ground & takes no prisoners.

I think ISU and UI would both take that arrangement of course. Drake and UNI would just be done with the series though. And ISU and UI wanted this in the first place so they could stop playing at Knapp and McLeod. So the Big 4 is a compromise of sorts.

1:30 - Iowa (H) vs UNI (V)
4:00 - ISU (H) vs Drake (V)

2013:
5:00 - UNI (H) vs ISU (V)
7:30 - Drake (H) vs Iowa (V)

2014:
4:00 - Drake (H) vs ISU (V)
6:30 - UNI (H) vs Iowa (V)

This. UNI is not going to play a pure road series against us or Iowa. They can schedule good enough road games without giving in, there struggle is getting home games. Drake on the other hand would probably take whatever they can get.
