Big 12: Viva La Mexico! ?

Someone has to lose a home football game though.

Cant stand most regular season neutral site games honestly. They remove everything that makes college football good.

Well make the newcomers play them once every 4 years for a couple of cycles sounds fair to me.

Does the Red River run south of the border? If so, you don't have to change the branding to move the Oklahoma/Texas game to Mexico!

Master Plan:
1. Add san diego state and move them.

2. MEXICO CITY AXTECS

3. PROFIT

I knew they wouldn't do it but I was thinking how great it would be if the B12 wouldn't have had a RR game this year.

Just listened to CW podcast.

The football championship game remains in Dallas.
The futball championship tourney is moved to Mexico . . . . .

I really hope this is just exhibition games or a pre season basketball tournament.

I wouldn't mind a reason to visit Mexico city but I wouldn't make it regular occurrence and I don't think Big 12 fans will support it.

BYU I think is the leading favorite for one team. I would say Houston the other team with all the Mexican heritage populating the enrollment and the city itself. Houston's stadium is relatively small and not packed at all (hope that changes in the Big 12) so make it one of their home games. That covers Year 1. Year 2 and onward, not sure.

Ahh yes, a bunch of high level athletes a mile above sea level in a city with with lung clogging air pollution. Football, not so bad if it’s in Monterrey. Basketball? That will be brutal in Mexico City.
