Hogue had the same dunk against KU in the tourney last year. i lost track of the link to it, but it was equally brutal.

and yes, i also teared up a bit (on the inside, of course) watching Kane and Mel ball there at the end. man, they brought something special. but i think we'll see something just as special from this year's team, starting Thursday. i'm just hazarding a guess here, but i don't think we'll be taking any prisoners home with us to Hilton at this point....

One thing both the videos posted in this thread make clear is that we, as ISU fans, have been treated to two amazing teams filled with quality individuals the past two years. Plus, we've had some really entertaining basketball, last-second winners, overtime classics, record comebacks and incredible individual performances. We have been spoiled.

Those young men wearing the Cardinal and Gold have played with such heart and pride. What a ride it's been and hopefully this year can get even better!!

Another thing I learned is that our marketing department really loves Avicii.

Nice! Last night I was getting ready to head to bed, then I saw that last year's Big12 championship game was on Cyclones TV, so of course I had to stay up and watch the whole thing. Is it Thursday yet?

I have spent the last week watching games from earlier this year and last year. The KU and Baylor games from the tourney last year were amazing. I wore a band aid on my eyebrow yesterday in honor of Mr. Niang!
