Big 12 POY

Relate to Ejim...remember his fresh year when we debated with our rivals who would be better between him and Basabe? I think we can say we were right.

My response to Twocoach.

Love it. Ejim has been a bit off the last couple weeks, but still no doubt he deserved being the POY.

41 for Wiggins against West Virginia. That should wrap it up...
el. oh. el. Nope.

"The official All-Big 12 awards are selected by the league's head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own player."

So, what about the AP awards - when do they come out? Is it possible Wiggins, or Kane wins the AP B12 POY?

Not only that, but at one point his freshman year he got replaced in the starting lineup by Calvin Godfrey, and we all thought Godfrey was going to be the star at ISU. Funny how things work out sometimes. Congrats to Melvin on a fine career and senior season. Awesome to see all your hard work pay off.

But they do not tell anything close to the whole story as to how you are able to shut down an opposing player.

Care to explain how your boy Wiggins, the shut-down specialist, doesn't make all defensive team? According to you he's the best defender in the league. Maybe you don't really know what you're talking about after all.

Here's a question... when a vote is unanimous do they just ignore the fact that his own coach cannot pick his own player?

No, the unanimous votes happen when coaches cheat and vote for their own player. No one has yet devised a method for figuring out which coaches are doing it so the votes stand.

Do you think twocoach will ever return now?? He has got alot of crow to eat.

Why is that? I have stated numerous times that I would have no problem with Ejim or Kane winning. Both were worthy candidates. I just would have voted differently. I hoped Wiggins' big game to finish up while Ejim sat on the bench helplessly watching his team would be the difference maker in what looked like a close race but I was wrong. No biggie. Ejim is a very worthy POY winner. He had a great year.
