The Great Plains Conference isn't that bad of a fit for you guys. It doesn't necessarily cover Iowa and Missouri, but it's close.

Problem is, there is already a Great Plains Athletic Conference in either Division II or III, I think.

If we are the Great Plains Conference does that mean great plains pizza will be the major sponser? that would be some sweet pizza, but not sure they could really help with the cash situation.

How about we get 2 more teams and call it the Big XII!! I do like the sponsorship ideas though.

i disagree with people said they're all horrible names. I think Central Coast Conference is pretty clever, albeit not logically descriptive. It's unprecedented as conference names go, that's for sure. :v_SPIN:

As much as "The Great Plains" may fit... I don't think it adds any sort of appeal to players... its just not an 'exciting' name.



I like this thought. Even more simply could be "Conference X".

Marketing could do so much with the single letter 'X'... and sports in general have a lot of ties to the letter X-Factor, X-Games...

I think you could build a brand around something like that pretty easily!

For the states that are involved in the conference: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
