Big 12 Embarrassing

How is that true?

10 teams
3 are "elite" still waiting on your idea what what constitutes as an "Elite" team

That's 30%

14 Teams
4 are "Elite"

That's 21% and Big 10 teams have to play in a Championship game which may or may not impact their chances of earning that elusive "elite" title you cannot explain.

You can use the fact that we play 1 more conference game all you want but the fact is that this year that was against Kansas. Who may or may not be one of the last ranked Division 1 football teams int he country. That's just thinking "hypothetically" though.

Sure the Big12 had one really bad team in KU, but last time I looked the Big 10 had Rutgers, Maryland and Purdue all teams slightly better than KU. So I if you are going to discount the Big12 schedule for including KU, then you need to discount the Big10 schedule by at least two game. Heck there are some Big 10 teams that played all 3.

It's not about the Big 10 and Big 12, the Big 12 and only the Big 12 that's all i'm talking about here and they under performed this bowl season and didn't win as many games as I had hoped.

I think we would all agree that Clone fans would have loved to see the Big12 win more bowl games. But to say Big12 teams underperformed is completely wrong. The experts in Vegas only had 2 Big12 teams (OU & WVU) favored. So by going 3-4 we outperformed the expert's predictions.

My disappointment is the current style of play in the Big12 with an obvious lack of defense. Too much finesse and not enough physical play along the front 7.

The two wins yesterday involved a lot of points. I agree on the defenses.

Not as bad as the Big 10 getting NU and Rutgers, but very meh.

Houston would be a terrible get. It would further dilute the Texas recruiting market. They don't add TV sets, so financially every team in the conference would make less (dividing the pie in more ways). Is a season or two worth of good football enough to join a major conference? No.

I'm trying to figure out who's dumber. This Jack Trice guy or those he's baited into arguing with him.

Shouldn't the guy disrespecting Jack Trice's name on the message board be banned? He's obviously a Hawk fan so make him change his name to something more appropriate
