Pollack just said twice, today, that defenses dont win championships anymore.
His team has not played a game this year. He doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Not sure your stance, but I tend to agree. Oklahoma would have rolled every team in the CFP had they had a defense those years that even had a pulse. If they had had Iowa states D they would have won multiple national championships, IMO
I don’t agree with this. Maybe in 2017 they could have beat Georgia but they weren’t beating Bama for the title. In 2018, Bama and Clemson were in a class of their own. Last year, Clemson, tOSU, and LSU were all better then OU.
OU had the best offense in all of college football 2017 and 2018. They woulda scored all over Bama. They just also could stop crap.
In 2018, Bama still would have won that game. Clemson was also in a league of their own.
