You said racism is running rampant in college football when in reality it was an Iowa issue not a college football issue. You're trying to bring other programs into the gutters with Iowa's program and yes that's trolling and honestly it's disgusting

What you dolts can't seem to understand is that doesn't change the fact that you are currently 0-1 against AP top 25 teams. That changes every week with every poll. At the end of the year the only AP top 25 teams you played will the the ones in that last ranking. For instance last year ISU was 0-5 vs AP top 25 teams. It doesn't matter that Baylor wasn't ranked when you played them, they finished ranked and ISU was 0-5 vs AP top 25 teams with losses to ND, Iowa, OU, Texas and Baylor.

We all completely understand that rankings change, and wins and losses can look very different at the end of the season. ISU isn't currently 0-1 vs. top 25 teams. ISU is 0-1 vs. teams currently ranked in the top 25. Those are different things. Using the standard everybody uses, ISU is 1-0 vs. ranked teams this year. You don't have to like it, but that's the way it is. Your earlier quote suggests that the generally accepted practice is to state that a team or coach's record is based on and updated to reflect current rankings, which of course is completely false.

So you either meant what you wrote and are completely wrong and are backpedaling, or your Kirkwood composition teacher failed you.

I am not backpedaling at all. The way I am stating it is the way every rating metric is run. They look at your opponents and where they stand at that point in time. They don't say well two weeks ago OU was ranked in the top 5, they say ISU beat an unranked OU. As I said that will change week to week as teams win and lose.

Same goes with Basketball, you can beat a Quad 1 team early and come NCAA tournament time that might be a Quad 2 win.
